President of the Constitutional Court Dr. Tamás Sulyok received the President of the International Ombudsman Institute Mr. Chris Field and the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary Dr. Ákos Kozma in his office. The President of the International Ombudsman Institute, who came to Hungary for an official visit, was informed of the operation, functions and responsibilities of the Hungarian Constitutional Court.

On 13 September 2022, President of the International Ombudsman Institute, i.e. IOI Mr. Chris Field, accompanied by the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary Dr. Ákos Kozma, paid a visit to the Hungarian-Ukrainian border section, to the border crossing points between Záhony and Cop, as well as Beregsurány and Astei.

On 13 September 2022, President of the International Ombudsman Institute, i.e. IOI Mr. Chris Field, accompanied by the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary Dr. Ákos Kozma, paid a visit to the ombudsman information points established to provide direct legal and humanitarian support to the refugees fleeing from Ukraine.

Dr. Ákos Kozma, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, and Mr. Chris Field, President of the IOI, and his delegation planted a memorial tree in Kisgyőr. The ceremony was on the premises of NORTHERN WOODS Forestry Private Company Limited by Shares (ÉSZAKERDŐ Erdőgazdasági Zártkörűen Működő Részvénytársaság) and it was on the occasion of the visit of Chris Field, President of the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI) to Hungary on 12 September 2022. The delegation was received by Adorján Zay, general manager of NORTHERN WOODS Forestry Private Company Limited by Shares.

Dr. Ákos Kozma, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, accompanied by Chris Field, President of the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI) and his delegation, visited the Csengersima (HU)-Petea (RO) border crossing on 12 September 2022. The delegation was received by Brigadier General, Senior Police Advisor, Chief of Police of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County József Farkas.

Chris Field, President of the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI), Ombudsman of Western Australia, is on an official visit to Hungary at the invitation of Dr. Ákos Kozma, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary. Mr. Field was invited to the Office's Regional Office in Debrecen on 12 September 2022.
