IOI President and Hungarian Ombudsman Meet with Constitutional Court President
President of the Constitutional Court Dr. Tamás Sulyok received the President of the International Ombudsman Institute Mr. Chris Field and the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary Dr. Ákos Kozma in his office. The President of the International Ombudsman Institute, who came to Hungary for an official visit, was informed of the operation, functions and responsibilities of the Hungarian Constitutional Court.
Constitutional Court Judge, former Deputy Ombudsman Dr. Marcel Szabó and Secretary General of AJBH Dr. Balázs Könnyid also took part in the coordination talks.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, Dr. Ákos Kozma, visited the Vámosszabadi Reception Centre, operated by the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.
Dr. Kozma was joined by Dr. Domonkos Wildner, General Director for Police Complaints. They were welcomed by Brigadier General Dr. Sándor Gömbös, Director General of the Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.

On 29 October 2024, Dr. Ákos Kozma, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, and Dr. Elisabeth Sándor-Szalay, Deputy Commissioner for the Rights of National Minorities in Hungary, attended the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Nationalities in Hungary. The session focused on Report no. B/7848 on the activities of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary and his deputies in 2023.
