IOI President visited the Office of the Commissioner for Fundamental Right’s Regional Office in Debrecen
Chris Field, President of the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI), Ombudsman of Western Australia, is on an official visit to Hungary at the invitation of Dr. Ákos Kozma, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary. Mr. Field was invited to the Office's Regional Office in Debrecen on 12 September 2022.

Dr. Ákos Kozma gives a lecture at a border guards training in Szeged
Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary Dr. Ákos Kozma, gave a presentation on the enforcement of fundamental rights at the training course for contracted border guards in Szeged on 1 September 2022. The Ombudsman was received by Brigadier General, Senior Police Advisor, Chief of Police of Csongrád-Csanád County, Zsolt Polyák.

OMBUDSMAN VISITS BORDER CROSSING STATION AT HERCEGSZÁNTÓ
The Ombudsman, Dr. Ákos Kozma visited the Hercegszántó-Hóduna border section on 1 September 2022. The Commissioner of Fundamental Rights of Hungary inspected the reinforcement of the security border fence alongside with Head of Law Enforcement Directorate of the Bács-Kiskun County Police Headquarters, Chief Counsel of Police, Police Colonel László Arató, Brigadier General of Penalty Enforcement, Senior Advisor on Penalty Enforcement, Commander of Szeged Prison Károly Kopcsik, and Prison Major, Managing Director of NOSTRA Ltd. Gábor Vlasich and the Office's Director of Police Complaints, dr. Domonkos Wildner.

COMMISSIONER FOR FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS GIVES PRESENTATION AT TRAINING COURSE FOR BORDER GUARDS
Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary Dr. Ákos Kozma, gave a presentation on the enforcement of fundamental rights at the training course for contracted border guards in Nyírbátor on 31 August 2022. The Ombudsman was received by Brigadier General, Senior Police Advisor, Chief of Police of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County József Farkas, and Lieutenant-Colonel, Head of the Education and Training Department of the County Police Headquarters Attila Usztics.
