Dr Ákos Kozma visited the Salgótarján-based Fészek Children’s Home of the Child Protection Centre and Territorial Child Protection Service of Nógrád County on 2 February 2021.

The child reception centre has a capacity of twelve places, and it provides shelter to children between the ages of 12 and 18 for a temporary period between 1 and 3 months. The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights inquired about the operation of the children’s home and the observance of the measures taken for the prevention of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, Dr. Ákos Kozma, visited the Vámosszabadi Reception Centre, operated by the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.
Dr. Kozma was joined by Dr. Domonkos Wildner, General Director for Police Complaints. They were welcomed by Brigadier General Dr. Sándor Gömbös, Director General of the Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.
