Professional Consultation with National Commander of Hungarian Prison Service

On 3 November 2021, Dr. Ákos Kozma took part in a professional consultation with Dr. Tamás Tóth, Lieutenant General, Chief Counsellor, National Commander of the Hungarian Prison Service.

During the consultation, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights was briefed about the substantive measures taken in connection with the reports earlier issued in this field, including the steps taken in relation to the mobile and social media phone call tariff rates of prisoners as well as to the amendment of the instruction issued by the Hungarian Prison Service Headquarters concerning the procedure of electronic contacts via telecommunication devices.
