Dr Ákos Kozma Visits Bács-Kiskun County Remand Prison

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights visited the Bács-Kiskun County Remand Prison in Kecskemét on 14 January 2021.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights visited the Bács-Kiskun County Remand Prison in Kecskemét on 14 January 2021.

Accompanied by National Commander of the Hungarian Prison Service, Counsellor, Major General Dr Tamás Tóth and Colonel, Prison Commander Dr Tibor Zakhar, Ombudsman Dr Ákos Kozma inspected the 238-capacity institution, its mothers and babies unit, and the building for young offenders. During the on-site visit, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights inquired about the measures taken by the institution for the prevention of the coronavirus pandemic and he also inspected the healthcare service units.
