On 29 May 2020, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights paid a visit to seat institution of the Baranya County “Platánliget” Care Home in Bóly.
On 29 May 2020, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights paid a visit to seat institution of the Baranya County “Platánliget” Care Home in Bóly.
At the 235-bed residential care home, Dr. Ákos Kozma surveyed the implementation of the measures taken in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as the living conditions of the persons in care. The Ombudsman was received by the head of the institution, Mrs. Ferencné Rumszauer, who presented the operation of the institution in detail.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, Dr. Ákos Kozma, visited the Vámosszabadi Reception Centre, operated by the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.
Dr. Kozma was joined by Dr. Domonkos Wildner, General Director for Police Complaints. They were welcomed by Brigadier General Dr. Sándor Gömbös, Director General of the Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.

On 29 October 2024, Dr. Ákos Kozma, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, and Dr. Elisabeth Sándor-Szalay, Deputy Commissioner for the Rights of National Minorities in Hungary, attended the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Nationalities in Hungary. The session focused on Report no. B/7848 on the activities of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary and his deputies in 2023.
