Dr. Ákos Kozma, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights participated in the UN "Multi-stakeholder meeting on human rights of older persons" in Geneva on 29 and 30 August 2022. The discussion on the protection and promotion of the human rights of older persons focused on international experience, achievements and challenges.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights met with the leaders of the Swiss-based DCAF - Democratic Control of Armed Forces - in Geneva on 29 August 2022. During the bilateral meeting, the parties informed each other about the functioning of their institutions and discussed possibilities for future cooperation.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights gave a speech at the opening ceremony of the 25th ÁGOTA® Camp in Tass-Alsószenttamás on 4 August 2022.

On 18 and 19 July 2022, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights participated in the third Supplementary Human Dimension Meeting on the international cooperation aimed to tackle the violation of humanitarian and human rights organised by the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Vienna.

Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr. Ákos Kozma, Deputy Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, Ombudsperson for the Rights of National Minorities Dr. Elisabeth Sándor-Szalay, as well as Deputy Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, Ombudsman for Future Generations Dr. Gyula Bándi attended the session of the Committee on Constitutional, Legislative and Judicial Matters on 6 July 2022, at which event document No. B/16 entitled Report on the Activities of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights and His Deputies in 2021 was discussed.

Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr. Ákos Kozma received Greek Mr. Yorgos Papandréu and Estonian Mr. Eerik-Niiles Kross, members of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in his office on 14 June 2022.
