The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights made an introductory visit in Bratislava to the Office of the Public Defender of Rights of Slovakia

On 21 January 2020, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr. Ákos Kozma travelled to Bratislava where he met Ombudswoman Mária Patakyová, Secretary General Marián Török and Adviser for internal and foreign relations Júlia Šebová in the Office of the Public Defender of Rights of Slovakia.

On 21 January 2020, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr. Ákos Kozma travelled to Bratislava where he met Ombudswoman Mária Patakyová, Secretary General Marián Török and Adviser for internal and foreign relations Júlia Šebová in the Office of the Public Defender of Rights of Slovakia.

During the meeting, the Slovak and the Hungarian ombudsmen pursued a dialogue on the development and reinforcement of the working relationship between their institutions, and the future possibilities of cooperation between them. Ombudswoman Ms. Mária Patakyová made proposals on the possible topics for the meeting of the V4 Ombudsmen to be held in Hungary in autumn 2020.
