On 28 July 2021, Dr. Ákos Kozma paid a visit to the Mohács Danube Border Crossing Point, where he inspected the patrol boat of the Disaster Management Service called Tűzmadár (Firebird), which was in attendance on the River Danube.
The Ombudsman was received by Lieutenant-Colonel Fire Service, head of the Baranya County Disaster Management Directorate Antal Mácsai and Lieutenant-Colonel Fire Service, head of county office Dr. Sándor Sárkány, as well as Lieutenant-Colonel Fire Service, County Industrial Security Superintendent Tamás Pandur.
The special patrol boat, which was inaugurated on 30 April 2021, among others, also functions as a mobile chemical, biological laboratory and one equipped with radiation detectors, and it can also be used for controlling the water transport of hazardous goods, technical backup and fire-fighting.
