Dr. Ákos Kozma gives talk at National Coordination Meeting of Italian Ombudspersons

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary held a presentation at the Italian National Coordination Meeting of Regional and Autonomous Provinces Ombudsman Institutions in Rome, Italy on 9 June 2023.

In his talk, Dr. Ákos Kozma gave a detailed presentation of the operation of the regional offices of the Office of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, its work performed on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border, as well as the activities and responsibilities of the independent monitoring mechanism for disability, supporting, protecting and controlling the implementation of CRPD. 



On this occasion, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary held a bilateral coordination meeting with the President of the Italian Regional and Autonomous Provinces Ombudsman Institutions Mr. Marino Fardelli about the further opportunities for cooperation between their institutions.
