Dr. Gyula Bándi re-elected as Deputy-Commissioner for Future Generations
On 7 December 2022, Dr. Gyula Bándi was re-elected by the National Assembly as Deputy-Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, Ombudsman for Future Generations with 163 affirmative votes.
At the proposal of Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr. Ákos Kozma, the National Assembly elected Dr. Gyula Bándi Deputy-Commissioner for the next six years, who then took his oath at the Parliament.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, Dr. Ákos Kozma, visited the Vámosszabadi Reception Centre, operated by the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.
Dr. Kozma was joined by Dr. Domonkos Wildner, General Director for Police Complaints. They were welcomed by Brigadier General Dr. Sándor Gömbös, Director General of the Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.

The session focused on Report no. B/7848 on the activities of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary and his deputies in 2023.
