President of IOI, Ombudsman of Western Australia Mr. Chris Field and Secretary-General of IOI, member of the Austrian Ombudsman Board Mr. Werner Amon gave talks at the event, then previous IOI President and former Ombudsman of Ireland Mr. Peter Tyndall was delivered the IOI Golden Order of Merit.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, Dr. Ákos Kozma, visited the Vámosszabadi Reception Centre, operated by the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.
Dr. Kozma was joined by Dr. Domonkos Wildner, General Director for Police Complaints. They were welcomed by Brigadier General Dr. Sándor Gömbös, Director General of the Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.
