The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights paid a visit to the Fadd-based group home of the Tolna County Child Protection Centre on 17 November 2022.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights paid a visit to the Szentlőrinc Group Home of the Baranya County Children’s Home and Group Home Network of the Szeged-Csanád Diocese Saint Agatha Child Protection Service on 17 November 2022, to which visit he was accompanied by Prison Major General, Deputy Director General for Finance and IT of the Hungarian Prison Service Headquarters Tamás Farsang, as well as CEO of Mecsekerdő Zrt István Ripszám.

On 16 November 2022, Dr. Ákos Kozma paid an official visit to the Veszprém County Police Headquarters, where he was accompanied by AJBH’s Police Complaints Director Dr. Domonkos Wildner.

On 16 November 2022, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights and his staff members conducted an on-site inspection at the Székesfehérvár Facility of the Central Transdanubian National Prison in the framework of the Optional Protocol to the Convention Against Torture (OPCAT) National Preventive Mechanism (NPM).

On 16 November 2022, Dr. Ákos Kozma paid a visit to the home operated by the Regens Wagner Non-profit Foundation. The residential home at Balatonmáriafürdő, which provides comprehensive care to adults with disabilities, was shown to the Ombudsman by the leader of the home Andrea Balla.

Ombudsman Dr. Ákos Kozma paid a visit to the Gyulafirátót Children’s Home of the Veszprém County Regional Child Protection Service of the National Child Protection Service on 16 November 2022, to which visit he was accompanied by National Commander of the Hungarian Prison Service, Prison Lieutenant General Dr. Tamás Tóth, as well as the management of VERGA Veszprémi Erdőgazdaság Zrt.
