Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Meets Slovak Ombudsperson

On 22 October 2021, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr. Ákos Kozma had a bilateral meeting with Slovak Ombudsperson Dr. Mária Patakyová.

At the bilateral event, the parties gave detailed information to each other about the operation of their respective institutions, and the most important events of the period since their last meeting. 

The parties agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding aimed at mutual assistance and sharing best practices between the two institutions. Slovak Ombudsperson Dr. Mária Patakyová also raised the idea of issuing a joint declaration on human rights.
