Dr. Ákos Kozma Pays Visit to Francis II Rákóczi Children’s Home of Somogy County

On 18 February 2021, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights paid a visit to the Francis II Rákóczi Children’s Home of Somogy County in Fonyód-Alsóbélatelep.

On 18 February 2021, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights paid a visit to the Francis II Rákóczi Children’s Home of Somogy County in Fonyód-Alsóbélatelep.

Dr. Ákos Kozma and his staff members were shown around in the children’s home with a holding capacity of fifty persons by Head of Institution Erika Lantos Nándorné László Farkas. The facility is composed of five buildings and five groups. In four groups, there are children between the ages of 3 and 18, whereas one group gathers youth living in post-care, potentially up to the age of 24. The Ombudsman inquired about the conditions of the home’s operation and the implementation of the measures taken in relation to the coronavirus pandemic.
