Commissioner and his Deputies Attend Hearing of the Committee on Justice of the National Assembly

On 22 June 2020, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr. Ákos Kozma, Deputy Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, Ombudsman for the Rights of National Minorities Dr. Elisabeth Sándor-Szalay and Deputy Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, Ombudsman for Future Generations Dr. Gyula Bándi attended the hearing of the Committee on Justice of the National Assembly, where Report no. B/8769 on the activities of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights and his Deputies in the year 2019 was discussed.

On 22 June 2020, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr. Ákos Kozma, Deputy Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, Ombudsman for the Rights of National Minorities Dr. Elisabeth Sándor-Szalay and Deputy Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, Ombudsman for Future Generations Dr. Gyula Bándi attended the hearing of the Committee on Justice of the National Assembly, where Report no. B/8769 on the activities of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights and his Deputies in the year 2019 was discussed.

Following the exposé of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, the members of the Committee asked questions about the report. After the Ombudsman answered these questions, the Committee on Justice proposed – with nine votes in favour, no against and four abstentions – that the National Assembly adopt the report on the activities of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights and his Deputies in the year 2019.
