The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights paid a visit to the Békés County Police Headquarters on 22 July 2021, where he was received by Police Colonel, County Police Superintendent Dr. Attila Pál Varga Koritár.

During the visit, Dr. Ákos Kozma was informed of the operation and key responsibilities of the Békés County Police Headquarters, the current public safety and crime situation in the county, as well as the current situation regarding the complaints against police measures.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, Dr. Ákos Kozma, visited the Vámosszabadi Reception Centre, operated by the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.
Dr. Kozma was joined by Dr. Domonkos Wildner, General Director for Police Complaints. They were welcomed by Brigadier General Dr. Sándor Gömbös, Director General of the Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.
