“For the protection of our landscape heritage”
Travelling exhibition
Initiated by Mr Marcel Szabó, the Deputy Commissioner for Fundamental Rights responsible for the protection of the interests of future generations and co-organized with the Ministry of Agriculture’s State Secretery for Environmental Affairs, Agricultural Development and Hungaricums, the travelling exhibition takes place in the building of the Office of the CFR.
In 2005, Hungary has joined the European Landscape Convention, which was adopted by the Council of Europe in July 2000. The Convention’s purpose is to promote landscape protection, management and planning of European landscapes and to organise European co-operation on landscape issues. It is the first international treaty to be exclusively concerned with protection, management and enhancement of European landscape.
The exhibition is open in office hours between 11th December 2015 and 8th January 2016.
