On 21 January 2021, Dr Ákos Kozma visited Eszterházy György Children’s Home, Primary School and Special School.
The forty-place children’s home is capable of providing care for children with ordinary, special, additional and dual needs. The Ombudsman was informed about the execution of the health measures taken for the prevention of the coronavirus pandemic, the living conditions of the residents, and the working conditions of the care staff. Furthermore, he visited the buildings, residential rooms and community rooms of the Bakonyoszlop institution.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, Dr. Ákos Kozma, visited the Vámosszabadi Reception Centre, operated by the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.
Dr. Kozma was joined by Dr. Domonkos Wildner, General Director for Police Complaints. They were welcomed by Brigadier General Dr. Sándor Gömbös, Director General of the Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.
